Fanned Flower Project Tutorial

Fanned Flower Tutorial

A simple but amazingly effective flower tutorial.
Here is a step by step guide:
Tools:
·         Double or Single Sided Thin Card/Paper
·         Scissors or Guillotine
·         Glue

1.       Cut two piece’s of thin card/Paper into a strip (looks great in many sizes) for this tutorial I will use each piece measuring 1.5” X 7”
2.       One by one fold the strip into an fan shape by  folding back and forth until you each the end making each fold around 1cm thick. (if you get to the end and you have a slightly larger fold; cut it down to size)
3.       Glue one end together ensuring the patterned side faces the same way
4.       Once dry, fold all together; hold at the bottom of the pack and pull one end around to the other
5.       Once fully fanned glue these two ends together (the shape will spring out of its flower shape but this is easily put back once dry)
6.       When the end is dry, cut two small round pieces of paper/card about 3cm diameter and cover one with glue; fold your flower back into shape and press the gluey circle into the middle of the back of the 3d shape and hold until dry.
7.       Do the same again for the front of the fanned flower to create the centre piece.
Project is now complete

To glue the fanned flower onto a project; place glue on the back circle and hold down in place.
